TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ATTENDEES OF THE MINING WEALTH CONFERENCE
1.1 The Mining Wealth Conference (the “Event”) is organized by the Geological Society of Zambia and managed by Miningwealth Ventures Limited, a company registered in Zambia with its registered office at Room 29, Geological Survey Building, Nationalist Road, Ridgeway, Lusaka, Zambia, under company registration number 120251021235 (the “Organizer”).
1.2 By completing the registration process and making the required payment, the attendee (“Customer”) is granted the right to attend the Event under the terms set forth in this agreement (“Agreement”).
1.3 This Agreement comprises these Terms and Conditions, any click-through terms provided during online registration, and any policies or rules set by the Event venue (“Venue”).
1.4 Definitions:
2.1 By submitting a registration, you accept the terms of this Agreement.
2.2 If registering on behalf of another individual, you confirm that you have informed them of these Terms and that you have the authority to act on their behalf.
2.3 Failure to comply with these Terms may result in denial of entry or removal from the Event without refund.
2.4 The Organizer reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The version applicable at the time of purchase will govern your participation.
3.1 Registration must be completed via the official Event website.
3.2 Submission of registration does not guarantee acceptance. Confirmation will be sent via email.
3.3 Delegate Passes will be issued upon registration confirmation and receipt of payment.
3.4 Attendees must be 18 years or older.
3.5 A photograph of each delegate must be submitted at least seven (7) days prior to the Event for identification purposes.
4.1 Payment is required upon registration.
4.2 All fees must be paid in full without deductions. Taxes (including VAT) are payable where applicable.
4.3 Payments can be made via credit card or bank transfer in Zambian Kwacha or USD.
4.4 The Delegate Pass covers Event entry only. Attendees are responsible for additional expenses such as travel and accommodation.
4.5 Failure to make timely payment may result in denied entry or cancellation of your registration.
4.6 Early bird discounts expire if payment is not completed by the specified deadline.
4.7 No partial attendance discounts are available. Full payment is required regardless of the number of days attended.
5.1 Delegate Passes are non-refundable.
5.2 Passes may be transferred to another individual within the same organization, subject to Organizer approval.
5.3 Unauthorized badge swapping is prohibited and may result in removal from the Event.
6.1 The Organizer reserves the right to change the Event date, location, or content without liability if circumstances require.
6.2 If the Event is canceled (excluding force majeure events), customers will be entitled to either: (a) a refund of fees paid, or (b) a credit toward a future event.
6.3 Refunds will not be issued for partial attendance or non-attendance.
7.1 Attendees must ensure they have valid passports, visas, and any required health documentation for travel.
7.2 Attendees must follow all instructions from the Organizer and Venue management.
7.3 Distribution of promotional materials without prior approval is not allowed.
7.4 The Organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee engaging in disruptive, offensive, or unsafe behavior.
8.1 Attendees must comply with all applicable laws, including anti-bribery, anti-corruption, and competition laws.
8.2 The Organizer is not liable for losses or damages, except in cases of negligence resulting in personal injury or death.
8.3 Attendees agree to indemnify the Organizer for any damages caused to the Venue or Event operations.
9.1 All Event-related intellectual property (e.g., logos, presentations, and materials) remain the property of the Organizer. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
10.1 The Organizer shall not be liable for cancellation or modifications due to events beyond its control, such as natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or government regulations.
10.2 In the case of force majeure, the Organizer may offer an alternative event date or format but is not obligated to provide refunds.
11.1 The Organizer may collect and process attendee data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. By registering, attendees consent to the use of their information for Event administration and networking purposes.
11.2 Attendees may receive communications regarding future events and can opt out at any time.
12.1 This Agreement is governed by the laws of Zambia. Any disputes shall be resolved in Zambian courts.
